VACCINATION HESITANCY PROJECT
15th September 2021-15th November 2021
The TTNCDA and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) have partnered to address vaccination hesitancy in Trinidad and Tobago. The goal of the project is to reduce vaccine hesitancy and increase vaccine uptake. This is to be achieve through a two-pronged strategy:
facilitating direct engagement with a medical specialist or health care provider to address an individual and/or family reasons for hesitating to take the vaccine.
conducting a marketing campaign to promote vaccine confidence and to influence those who are hesitant to accept the vaccines
This project compromises two components: a Social Media Marketing Campaign and a establishment of a Vaccination Hesitancy Hotline for individuals who are vaccine hesitant to discuss their concerns directly with a medical practitioner.
